Insulting Amanda has set me to thinking, so I took a sabbatical to the Ammend Ranch where Jeff and I hung out with JT, our wheelchair bound buddy. It was nice to get away. Jeff just signed up on the livejournal peripatetic05 I don't think he has posted anything yet.

Somewhere around 28,000 miles away from the center of the galaxy, travelling at approximately 217 kilometers a second, our little middle aged (5 billion years old) buddy, Sol, has finally broken the cloud cover over the midwest United States. SUN sun sun sun sun sun sun suns sun sun...I am chanting it.

Drove around for an hour and a half looking for Scotty's last night, Fuck my truck uses a lot of gas. Ended up going over at the D&D house where I had a good conversation with Andy Ziesmer. After contemplating Amanda's (insulting Amanda) comments to me from a few days back I have come to the following conclusion.

As I have mentioned in the past, Wee Beastie likes to poke me with one sharp claw while I am sleeping and it makes me freak. Last night was no better. I gotta say I am really upset with the browser manufacturers' inconsistant integration of W3C standards. The standards tell us that we should handle website layout structure within CSS completely. This makes it difficult to develop fluid display design. A misplaced attribute declaration (border, padding, margin, etc) can cause an entire sites' layout to be compromised. Also DIV components force line breaks, and refuse to vertically align without sneaky tricks. And absolute positioning can cause elements to overlap. Empty Blocks collapse.

Why do people want to look at the cool pictures anyways - this is an information medium. Who cares what color the damn font is?

Last night I battled anxiety for around 4 hours. I was trying to sleep with my heart pounding in my ears, with my Visious dog running in circles chasing its tail while my pig cheered its encouragement whenever I couldn't overhear.

Today I am Pissy. I hate lying. It is tough to make decisions based on data you cannot trust.

I think Condoleeza should keep her lying spin doctor mouth shut and let the corporately sponsored government take its beating for spying on its citizens. I mostly distrust this current White House Staff and I expect my Big Brother to be spying in on me. But then again, I am a cynic and have already thrown my hands up. Bottom line is that I am an American and it is getting embarrassing to visit foreign countries. Shame on this complacent society. Stay home and watch your TV.

Do they really expect us to believe that they only spied on 500 citizens?? I can do that in an evening with a police scanner. Plus, do you know how easy it is to read your boring email???
